3.7 Termination of the Collective Contract

Page Completion Estimate = 5 Minutes

Collective contracts include a term ranging from one to three years and are ended immediately when the term expires or when conditions justifying its termination as agreed by both sides have occurred.

Similar to revision, either party can propose to terminate the collective contract. The party who wishes to terminate the contract should inform the other party. Collective contracts can only be terminated after both sides have agreed on its termination. Within seven days a written explanatory must be send to the respective labour authority who examined and approved the original contract.
