Investment-related requirements and conditions that might apply are discussed in detail. You will further learn to make an initial assessment on whether your desired investment is possible and which requirements might apply. We will start placing Foreign Direct Investment into China in perspective and discuss how FDI has contributed to the economic development of China. FDI has proven to be one of the principal drivers of China’s growth is FDI into the country, and China has pursued a historically unique FDI policy that has long-term implications for both Chinese and international businesses. Next the course will review direct investment into China focusing on the key aspects Investment Management, Investment Promotion, Investment Protection, and requirements to achieve compliance towards China’s new Foreign Investment Law.
