
The Institute for China Studies Welcomes Ms. Bei Wang, MA, as Newest Faculty Member
The Institute for China Studies is pleased to welcome Ms. Bei Wang, MA as a faculty member.
Ms. Bei Wang is an interdisciplinary educator and researcher whose work bridges digital humanities, technology narratives, and sustainable innovation. As a Lecturer in Creative Business and a PhD researcher, she examines digital transformation across China and the Global South. With experience teaching in research universities, universities of applied sciences, and professional training environments, she integrates academic insight with practical application. She founded the Digital China Minor to help students navigate global digital markets through both analytical and hands-on learning.
Ms. Wang’s professional background spans international NGOs, global media, and digital consulting, from Greenpeace International to leading RNW’s Chinese digital media platform to co-founding the consultancy FIVE Degrees. Her cross-cultural life and work, operating between Europe and China, shape her globally attuned approaches.
