Course Content
In this course China’s foreign investment management system is introduced, and upon completion you will have developed a detailed understanding on how the process of investment into China is structured.
Within four weeks you will learn the steps to take as a foreign investor to determine whether the desired investments for expanding your organization into China are possible. Investment-related requirements and conditions that might apply are discussed in detail. You will further learn to make an initial assessment on whether your desired investment is possible and which requirements might apply.
We will start placing Foreign Direct Investment into China in perspective and discuss how FDI has contributed to the economic development of China. FDI has proven to be one of the principal drivers of China’s growth is FDI into the country, and China has pursued a historically unique FDI policy that has long-term implications for both Chinese and international businesses. Next the course will review direct investment into China focusing on the key aspects Investment Management, Investment Promotion, Investment Protection, and requirements to achieve compliance towards China’s new Foreign Investment Law.
