Admission Requirements
Online Masterclasses, Certificate Courses and Diploma Programs
Enrollment in the Institute for China Studies’ online Masterclasses, Certificate and Diploma courses is open to all applicants. No prior academic qualifications or subject-specific knowledge are required for admission.
Completion of one or more relevant Masterclasses offered by the Institute may qualify participants for partial exemption within the corresponding Certificate Course. Similarly, completion of one or more relevant Certificate Courses may qualify participants for partial exemption within the corresponding Diploma program, subject to academic review and approval.
Executive Programs
The Institute’s Executive Programs are offered in multiple formats, including fully online delivery, in-person instruction, and hybrid learning modes that integrate both. Throughout these programs, participants engage with China-focused content through masterclasses, applied case studies, and structured discussions. These learning components serve as the foundation for individual and group-based analytical exercises and debates.
While enrollment in the Executive Programs is open, participants are encouraged to possess a foundational understanding or professional background in the program’s principal discipline in order to contextualize and deepen their learning experience.
