Fulco Wijdooge, MA, MBA

Fulco Wijdooge is a Dutch business leader with over two decades of experience transforming organizations and markets across Asia. Known for his ability to merge strategic vision with operational execution, he has built and led international teams, launched new ventures, and turned technology-driven ideas into sustainable and profitable businesses.

Fulco currently serves as CEO (Ad Interim) of HX (Beijing) Holdings Limited, a Dutch-invested company financing, building, and operating high-tech greenhouses in China. HX focuses on establishing a profitable and sustainable protected horticulture value chain that integrates investment, technology, and operations.

He is also the Founder of Agrion Limited, his own Hong Kong-based venture providing advisory, technology trade, new energy, localization, and management solutions across Asia. Through Agrion, Fulco works with international partners to bridge innovation and market reality, helping Western technology companies adapt and thrive in complex Asian markets.

Previously, as General Manager Asia at Lumiforte and LumiRay, Fulco spearheaded the company’s regional expansion, established local entities and partnerships, and led teams that delivered strong sales growth and significant market share gains. At Ridder Group, he built the China organization from the ground up, expanding turnover sixfold and turning a startup subsidiary into a profitable sourcing and trading operation, anchoring Ridder as one of China’s most recognized agri-tech brands.

Fulco also brings extensive experience in public–private cooperation and economic diplomacy. As Chief Representative Asia for GMV – Dutch Food Systems (part of FME-CWM), he established multiple business consortia and guided Dutch agri-food technology firms in market entry, localization, and project execution. Earlier, as Chief Representative at NBSO China, the trade office of the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs, he promoted bilateral cooperation across agriculture, food, and other technology sectors while advancing Dutch public diplomacy in Northeast and East China.

Proficient in Mandarin and deeply rooted in China’s business culture, Fulco combines strategic foresight with a results-driven management style. His focus on customer-centric execution, speed, and adaptability enables organizations to navigate fast-moving markets effectively.
